Incident Summary:

11/02/2017: Assailants abducted Ghowhar Hussain Bhat from his residence in Kiloora, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Bhat, a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district president, was killed shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, police officials identified the assailants as members of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).
