Incident Summary:

11/00/2017: Sometime between November 1, 2017 and November 15, 2017, an explosive device detonated as coalition military personnel disarmed devices at a hospital near Raqqah city, Syria. Chief Petty Officer Kenton Stacey, a United States Navy explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) technician, was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources stated that the hospital was located in an area previously controlled by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
