12/01/2017: An explosive device detonated near Pakistan Armed Forces soldiers returning to a checkpost in Chamarkand, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. At least one soldier was killed and another soldier was injured in the blast. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
