12/19/2017: Assailants attacked Qarah Jawgh, near Makhmur, Nineveh, Iraq. Four people, including a Peshmerga member and three assailants, were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
