12/19/2017: Assailants abducted Virendra Koda, a deputy village head, from his residence in Kachhua, Bihar, India. Koda was killed shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
