Incident Summary:

01/06/2018: Assailants attacked civilians collecting wood in the Bayottes forest near Borofaye, Ziguinchor, Senegal. At least 14 people were killed and seven people were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Movement of Democratic Forces of Casamance, which denied involvement.
