01/08/2018: Assailants abducted two people, including Stephanie Isuma (Calabar Chic), from an unknown location in Nigeria. Both hostages, including Chic, an actress and comedian, were released unharmed on January 12, 2018. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
