Incident Summary:

01/08/2018: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated targeting a Nigerian Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle in the Sambisa Forest, Gwoza, Borno, Nigeria. In addition to the suicide bomber, four soldiers were killed and nine soldiers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
