Incident Summary:
01/11/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting Muhammad al-Muhammadi, the Hit district council head, and Asmaa Osama Abdul Rahman, an Al Anbar provincial councilor, at a soccer stadium in Al-Qadisiyyah, Al Anbar, Iraq. Al-Muhammadi and Abdul Rahman were unharmed; however, at least five people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
