01/11/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting an Operation Barkhane military convoy between Menaka and Indelimane in Menaka district, Menaka, Mali. The assailant was killed and three French soldiers were injured in the blast. The Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) claimed responsibility for the incident; additionally, sources attributed the attack to Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM).
