Incident Summary:

01/12/2018: Assailants stopped vehicles and abducted at least 11 people, including Radio Television Graben Beni director Jadot Mangwengwe, near Beni, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least three hostages, including Mangwengwe, were released on January 20, 2018. The fate of the remaining eight hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).
