01/15/2018: An explosive device detonated at the Johnstone Higher Secondary School in Kangla neighborhood, Imphal, Manipur, India. One civilian was injured in the blast. This was one of two bombings in Kangla neighborhood on this date. The Manipur People's Army (MPA), a subgroup of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
