Incident Summary:

01/16/2018: Assailants opened fire on a convoy of ten oil tankers in Jagun, Assam, India. There were no reported casualties; however, the drivers were forced from the vehicles and at least nine tankers were set on fire during the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM), the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K), or the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) may have carried out the attack.
