01/16/2018: A suicide bomber detonated their explosive device outside of a mosque while civilians left the services in Matakaye-Elie, Extreme-North, Cameroon. At least two people and the assailant were killed and 12 others were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
