01/17/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting a police vehicle along the Arish-Al Qantarah highway in Sebeka, Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai, Egypt. One police officer was killed and four officers were injured in the blast. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
