01/17/2018: Assailants abducted a police officer as he was leaving his security post in Kotki, Logar, Afghanistan. The officer, identified as Azizullah, was killed shortly thereafter. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
