Incident Summary:

01/23/2018: Assailants shot and killed two National Directorate of Security (NDS) officers in Karez Shaikh Ha, Farah, Afghanistan. One of the victims was identified as Muhammad Ismail, the Pusht Rod district intelligence chief. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
