Incident Summary:

01/24/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle and four assailants stormed a Save the Children office in Jalalabad, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. At least 11 people, including five assailants, were killed and 26 people were injured in the attack. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident. In addition, the Taliban claimed responsibility but later denied taking part in the attack. Authorities also attributed the incident to the Haqqani Network.
