01/24/2018: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on District Reserve Group (DRG) personnel near Irpanar, Chhattisgarh, India. At least five police officers were killed and eight officers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.

Criteria 1
