01/31/2018: Assailants in Syria fired two rockets into Reyhanli, Hatay, Turkey. One person was killed and another was injured in the attack. This was one of two rocket attacks that occurred within a span of a few hours in Reyhanli on this date. "No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the People's Protection Units (YPG), which denied involvement.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
