Incident Summary:

02/01/2018: An explosive device detonated outside of the residence of Soler Undug, an engineer, in San Rafael, Isabela, Basilan, Philippines. There were no reported casualties. This was one of two similar attacks targeting engineers in Isabela City on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) and indicated that the group was attempting to extort P200,000 from Undug.
