02/03/2018: Assailants abducted Manoj Padium, a road contractor employee, from his residence in Gatam, Chhattisgarh, India. Padium was shot and killed shortly after the kidnapping; additionally, his niece was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
