Incident Summary:

02/10/2018: Assailants equipped with grenades and assault rifles launched a fidayeen (suicide) attack against the Sunjawan military camp in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India. At least 10 people, including three assailants, six soldiers, and one civilian, were killed and nine people, including soldiers and civilians, were injured in the ensuing clashes that continued until February 11, 2018. The Afzal Guru Squad, a subgroup of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) separately claimed responsibility for the incident.
