02/12/2018: Three explosive devices detonated targeting Saad Ismael, an Al-Abbarah councilor, and Sheikh Mahmoud al-Baiyati, a tribal leader, in Zahrah, Diyala, Iraq. Both Ismael and al-Baiyati were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, an official attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
