02/20/2018: Assailants threw a petrol bomb at a passenger bus along the East-West highway near Khairanipur, Province 5, Nepal. At least 12 people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (CPN-Maoist-Chand) and stated that the bus was targeted for failing to comply with the group's demand for a general strike.
