02/24/2018: An explosive device was discovered and defused at the intersection of Travis Road and Little Mountain Road in Anderson, South Carolina, United States. The assailant was identified as Wesley “Dallas” Ayers and sources noted that he was self-radicalized and read propaganda from Anwar al-Awlaki and Osama bin Laden, among others. Ayers also pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
