Incident Summary:

03/03/2018: Assailants raided the residence of Anita Abansado, a village health worker, in San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. Although there were no reported casualties, mobile phones were stolen during the attack. This was one of three related attacks targeting the homes of village officials in San Miguel on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources suspected that the New People’s Army (NPA) carried out the attacks.
