Incident Summary:

03/11/2018: Assailants armed with grenades and firearms attacked a military detachment at a command post in Guisang, Poblacion, Balbalan, Kalinga, Philippines. At least one soldier was killed and another soldier and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
