Incident Summary:

04/05/2018: Assailants abducted Manzoor Ahmed Bhat and his father Abdul Gaffar from their residence in Hajan, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Gaffar was shot and injured but escaped shortly after the kidnapping, while Bhat was beheaded and his body was discovered the following day on April 6, 2018. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), which denied involvement.
