Incident Summary:

04/09/2018: Assailants opened fire on park rangers at Virunga National Park near Bulambo, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Six people, including five park rangers and a driver, were killed and one ranger was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Mayi Mayi.
