Incident Summary:

04/11/2018: Assailants attacked a German NGO Help convoy in Tingarane, 25km north of Ayorou, Tillaberi, Niger. Five people were abducted during the attack. Four employees were wounded but released shortly after the attack; however, the fate of Joerg Lange, a German aid worker, remains unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Jama'a Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin' (JNIM) and the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS).
