04/16/2018: Assailants attempted to extort money from civilians and opened fire on security forces in Guadalupe, Negros Occidental, Philippines. There were no reported casualties in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
