Incident Summary:

05/05/2018: Assailants set fire to a vehicle after forces the driver and passengers to disembark in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, India. There were no reported casualties in the attack. Maoists claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in response to the killing of 40 Maoists by a "contract killer" in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra in April 2018.
