05/09/2018: Security forces identified two female suicide bombers targeting Alhaji Bunu Mosque in Jidari Polo, Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. The two assailants detonated their explosives, killing only themselves, before reaching their target. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the incident to Boko Haram.
