Incident Summary:

05/08/2018: Assailants raided Mayonga, Tshopo, Democratic Republic of the Congo. There were no reported casualties, though buildings were set on fire in the attack. Thomas Mesandu, a Mayi Mayi leader, claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was revenge for the mistreatment of his son by government soldiers.
