Incident Summary:
05/14/2018: An explosive device detonated and assailants opened fire on a joint District Reserve Guard (DRG) and local police squad responding to a tree blocking railway tracks near Pandevar Forest, Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, India. There were no reported casualties and the assailants set fire to a JCB machine and trailer truck before fleeing the area. Two explosive devices were also discovered and defused. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
