Incident Summary:

05/00/2018: Sometime between May 20, 2018 and May 26, 2018, assailants abducted an unknown number of villagers from Budarikarka, Chhattisgarh, India. At least one hostage was killed on May 27, 2018 while the remaining hostages were assaulted and released. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
