Incident Summary:

05/24/2018: Assailants armed with projectiles and firearms attacked the Banro Corp Namoya Gold Mine in Namoya, Maniema, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least five people were killed and an unknown number of others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Mayi Mayi.
