Incident Summary:

05/26/2018: Assailants attacked Syrian Armed Forces soldiers in an area near Mayadin, Deir ez-Zor, Syria. This was one of two incidents in Deir ez-Zor on the same day. At least 11 soldiers were killed and an unknown number of other soldiers were injured across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
