Incident Summary:
06/03/2018: Assailants opened fire on a Frontier Corps (FC) post in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. This was one of two similar cross-border attacks targeting FC posts in Pakistan on the same day. At least six assailants were killed and five soldiers, including one Pakistan Air Force soldier, and an unknown number of assailants were injured across both assaults. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
