06/03/2018: Assailants abducted a Christian pastor and four of his family members in Bilhore, Sahel, Burkina Faso. Pastor Pierre Boena and two other hostages were released on June 7th, 2018. The fate of the two other hostages remains unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
