06/03/2018: Assailants abducted Alain Goma, a French civilian, from Hudaydah, Al Hudaydah, Yemen. Goma was released on October 16, 2018. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).
