Incident Summary:

06/16/2018: Assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Tinggineri, Yambi, Puncak Jaya, Papua, Indonesia. Two soldiers were injured in the attack. The Free Papua Movement (OPM-Organisasi Papua Merdeka) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in response to the arrival of army personnel at a local village meeting.
