06/28/2018: Assailants attacked a security checkpost in Yatem Tepa, Takhar, Afghanistan. At least 16 border police officers were killed and one officer was injured in the attack. In addition, an unknown number of officers were reported missing following the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
