06/28/2018: Assailants attacked a security checkpost in Kolian, Herat, Afghanistan. At least 11 people, including nine assailants, were killed and nine people, including six assailants, were injured in the attack. The victims included soldiers, police, and civilians. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
