06/29/2018: Assailants attempted to abduct Zulfiqar Stanikzai, a Wolesi Jirga candidate, in Arghandeh, Kabul, Afghanistan. One person was killed and six people, including Stanikzai, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
