Incident Summary:

06/29/2018: A suicide bomber detonated a vehicle, painted in United Nations colors, at the entrance to a G5 Sahel base in Sevare, Mopti, Mali. Assailants then engaged in a gun fight with security forces. Two Malian soldiers, one civilian, and three assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the attack.
