Incident Summary:

07/14/2018: Assailants abducted Gabriel Vado Ruiz, a police officer, in Monimbo, Masaya, Nicaragua. Shortly after the abduction, Ruiz, was tortured and killed and his corpse was then set on fire. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the attack to right-wing extremists.
