07/16/2018: Assailants attacked a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) patrol in Zewlat, Wardak, Afghanistan. At least two United States soldiers were injured in the attack. The assailants sustained an unknown number of casualties in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
