07/19/2018: An explosive device was discovered in a passenger van and defused at a checkpoint in Awang, Maguindanao, Philippines. The device was being transported to be used in Rosary Heights 10 neighborhood. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
